About me
The Meanderer -
Saiprasad Seshadri, 50+ and getting older by the minute. I've always loved to write and express , but the words have rarely left my head - some raging, some haunting like a sweet melancholy, some reverberating, others incoherent like an bohemian rhapsody. Here, now, that's about to change.
Well, at least the last part ....
I am a well-seasoned (mostly salty) IT professional, an annoyingly enthusiastic music and movie connoisseur, a gold-medalist couch potato , a hopeful Pizzaiolo and a script writer, and extremely a work in progress.
My Story
In many ways, “ meandering ” is a superlative word that brings me to feel by fair means at home. There’s my long-winded conversation style that assigns value to details others would ignore. There’s my over-thinking self that peels layers back on things others only give a fleeting glance. And then there’s a lifetime of aimless wanderings that bring me to now feel the need to find my way back to my truer self.
I’ve tried this before. More than ever. Every other time, it’s been a start-stop- stutter journey, flattering to deceive with a few pages written, accompanied by a pen but going nowhere. And each time, I started more determined than the last, but day-to-day distractions soon had me wandering a trail of lost intentions again.
This time. This time I have a better sense of direction and a better understanding of the why. For those who may one day wish they knew me better, here is where the enduring remnants lie. Before you wonder, let me clarify there are an assortment of topics that have found residence here, lest you assume this is full mindless balderdash by a gobbledygook.
May these pages be full and many before this aging soul runs out of ink. Now that you have arrived, pause and cast a glance if you will. My ramblings may resonate with you someway or the other.
I love music, movies and literature . Most days, I could literally sit in my office and listen to songs all day long while reading articles, reviews and analysis of musicians, singers , browsing lyrics or pausing to watch music, movie and interview videos on YouTube. Sometimes I write about my movies, music and a variety of topics on my blogs. I am slightly old fashioned and carry the hangover of the 50s and 60s and the old worldly charm. My blogs and writing in many ways is a statement on the kind of personality I possess and shaped by the influences of writers, poets, actors and people whom I admire.
I love cooking and try out new dishes and in the process irritating the missus, haven’t given up trying despite the resistance. I blab about whatever else is rattling around my brain here on my blog.
